| #001 - Network Support Specialist |
| M2Technology is currently seeking an experienced Network Support Specialist for full time employment. |
SUMMARY
This is a salaried position with benefits and excellent potential for advancement. Due to our growth in the areas of Network Design and Development, we welcome a proactive individual that will be comfortable assuming new responsibilities. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent from college or university; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in a Microsoft Windows Network environment plus an MCNA and/or other certifications such as A+ or Network+.

In Depth Knowledge of all Microsoft Windows Desktop Platforms, Microsoft Office and General Network Concepts.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The prospective applicant should be able to demonstrate the ability and willingness to:

DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Server, active directory, terminal services, thin client technology, antivirus/antispyware solutions, general backup software and strategies, SonicWALL (or equivalent) firewall software & appliances, network security and LAN,WAN,WLAN,VPN topologies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are requirements for this position. Due to the dynamic nature of this position additional duties may be assigned.

Providing support on Microsoft 2000/2003 Servers, Microsoft Terminal Services and network connectivity

Providing network user and file administration, including creating new user accounts, resetting passwords and other related helpdesk activities
-
Coordinating with customer’s support staff in supporting end user related helpdesk issues
-
Administration of enterprise applications, including network backups and enterprise-wide e-mail systems and antivirus/antispyware
-
Monitoring availability and performance of networks, servers and services
-
Reviewing daily backup reports and daily server usage reports
-
Recommending improvements to enhance overall network (servers, workstations, switches, etc) and user proficiency
-
Implementing configuration changes based on systems analysis and best practices
-
Monitoring and responding to email and voice-mail in a timely fashion
-
Researching issues and finding resolutions through vendor-related support and Internet resources
-
Installing, configuring, deploying, updating and/or troubleshooting workstation hardware, software applications (MSOffice, Windows 9X, 2000, and XP) and workstation imaging
-
Supporting multi-media equipment such as projectors, scanners, CD-ROM writers, printers, copiers and fax machines

Providing PC-based helpdesk support, and escalation of calls when necessary

Assisting with migration of network infrastructure to newer technology

Assisting with planning/implementation of geographical customer relocation and expansion

Utilizing and developing procedures, documentation and tools for support of daily activities

Maintaining customer hardware and software inventory, including software version control, licensing and reallocation of hardware and software

Maintaining customer documentation including typical/custom configuration of network by M2Technology, as well as acquiring documentation from vendors for proprietary hardware and software

Maintaining customer network infrastructure diagrams

Utilizing online, real-time helpdesk application for customer ticket entry and referencing previous solutions

| #002 - Web Designer/Developer |
| M2Technology is currently seeking an experienced Web Designer / Developer for part time to full time employment. *Contractors are welcome to apply. |
M2Technology is accepting applications for a part-time Web Designer/Developer (20+ hrs per week) with the potential for full-time employment that will play an integral role in our project development cycle.
*If you are interested in a contract position we also welcome your submission.
This position requires a multi-faceted skill set as each project undertaken will have varying development requirements. Experience wearing "multiple-hats" is definitely required - we're not looking for a guru in one area, rather someone experienced in several.
Your ability to meet deadlines is key, as is your ability to coordinate specific project tasks. This position allows for the freedom to set your own hours and work in your own environment. Our main interest is your ability to meet client deadlines.
The position requires the following of potential candidates:
- Strong Web Design Ability
We are looking for a designer that is familiar with current design trends in the industry. You must be comfortable designing in a variety of styles and capable of providing variations in concept. A strong Portfolio is required for consideration.
- Excellent CSS/HTML Skills
You should be able to generate valid/compliant code and be familiar with diagnosing browser compatibility issues. Extensive experience with Dreamweaver is necessary while the ability to hand code in a pinch is helpful.
- PHP/MySQL Code Experience
Familiarity with Open Source PHP/MySQL applications is needed. You won't be building from the ground up, however, you should understand and be able to use tools like PHPMyAdmin as well as analyze general functionality.
- Experience Designing and Developing CMS Applications (Drupal & Wordpress)
We utilize Open Source applications as the framework for many of our projects. We produce projects using Drupal, Wordpress, and others. You should be familiar with how these systems work, including module integration and CSS based template design.
- Experience Designing and Developing osCommerce E-commerce
We have found osCommerce (and the various branch derivatives) to be affordable yet highly functional E-commerce solutions for our clients. You should be comfortable designing for this platform including using various template systems as well as CSS based layouts.
- Flash Experience Great! - Not Required
Flash experience is a bonus, yet not required. However, you must be familiar with the integration of Flash elements into your designs as well as how Flash elements will affect your layouts.
